Brian Throckmorton, PE

Brian was born and raised in Montana and graduated from Montana State University with a BS in Construction Engineering Technology. He quickly started his diverse career in the engineering industry ranging from managing multi-million-dollar construction sites to successfully operating design- build construction companies. Brian joined the 406 Engineering team within the first few months of its conception and managed some of the firm’s largest and most complicated projects within the Missoula area all while helping to build the company that 406 Engineering is today. As an accomplished leader with the resume to back it up, Brian proudly became CEO of 406 Engineering in 2022. As CEO, Brian is driven by a clear vision for 406 Engineering’s future and is dedicated to upholding the company’s core values as he continues to propel 406 Engineering forward. Outside of his professional life, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, coaching youth sports for his two children, hunting, fishing, and enjoying all of the outdoor activities that Montana has to offer.
